The Doctrine of the Bible 

 We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament is the verbal, plenary, inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. We believe God preserved His word down through the ages and that the King James Version of the Bible is the inspired Word of God for the English-speaking world. Therefore, it is the final authority for faith and practice.

The Doctrine of God 

We believe that there is one true and living God, who is the creator and supreme ruler of Heaven and Earth; who is worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love; that in the unity of the Godhead there is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost; each being omnipotent, omniscience, and omnipresent with each other.

The Doctrine of Christ 

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man. We believe that our redemption and salvation is guaranteed to us by his literal, physical resurrection from the dead. We believe that He accomplished our redemption through His death on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice.

The Doctrine of the Holy Ghost

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. In this present age He is the one who regenerates believers in Christ, baptizes them into the church, which is the body of Christ, indwells them permanently, seals them unto the day of the resurrection, bestows spiritual gifts upon each believer, He is the divine teacher who assists believers to understand the scriptures, and fills those who are yielded to the Spirit.

The Doctrine of the Trinity

We believe that the Godhead is composed of three Persons coeternal, coequal, and coexistent; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost; and the same in substance but distinct in subsistence permeates the Bible. The Godhead is a Trinity in unity seeing there are three inner distinctions but a single divine life. The three Persons are equal but one in essence.

The Doctrine of the Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam’s sin, the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God; and, that man is, of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.

The Doctrine of Satan

We believe that Satan was once holy and enjoyed heavenly honors; but through pride and ambition to be as the Almighty, fell and drew 1/3 of the angels with him; that he is now the malignant prince and power of the air. We hold him to be man’s tempter, the enemy of God and Christ, the accuser of the saints, the author of all false religions, the chief power behind the present apostasy, the father of lies; the lord of the antichrist, and the author of all the powers of darkness and the author of original sin – destined to be defeated in the end at the hands of God’s own Son, and to judgment of an eternal justice in Hell, a place prepared for him and his angels.

The Doctrine of Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace through the work of Jesus Christ, not of the works of man, and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins.

The Doctrine of the Church

We believe that the local church, which is part of the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again persons. We believe it is the responsibility of the members to sow the seed, Christ said “I will build My church.” The church is to be faithful and Christ does the rest. Also, we can see the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament Scriptures. We believe in the autonomy of the local church free of any external authority or control. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances to be observed the authority of the local church by all believers until His return:

Matthew 16:18, 18:17; Acts 2:46-47, 14:27-28, 16:5, 20:28; I Corinthians 10:32, 12:13; Ephesians 1:22-23, 5:23-24; I Timothy 3:14-15

Two Church ordnances:

1)    Baptism – We believe that the Scriptures teach Christian baptism is the immersion in water of a believer in Christ, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; to show forth, in a solemn and beautiful emblem, our identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

2)    The Lord’s Supper – We believe that the Scriptures teach the Lord’s Supper is the provision of bread, together with fruit of the vine, as symbols of Christ’s body and blood, partaken of by the members of the church, following solemn self-examination, in commemoration of the suffering and death of the Lord.

The Doctrine of Separation

We believe Christians should live in such a way that our lives do not bring a reproach unto Christ. The Bible teaches that we are to be separated unto Christ and from the world.

The Doctrine of Civil Government

We believe that civil government is of divine appointment, for the interests and good order of human society; that magistrates are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored and obeyed; except only in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ; who is the only Lord of the conscience, and the coming prince of the kings of the earth.

The Doctrine of the Resurrection and Second Coming

I believe in the that Christ rose bodily “The third day according Old Testament he Scriptures;” that He alone is our “merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God:” “that this same Jesus which is taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven” – bodily, personally, and visible; that the “dead in Christ shall rise first,” that the living saints “shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; “that the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His Father David;” and the Christ shall reign a thousand years in righteousness until He hath put all enemies under His feet.”

The Doctrine of Eternal Security

We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence, and there remain in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body at His coming for the Church, when soul and body reunited shall be associated with Him forever in glory. The souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery until the final judgment of the Great White Throne at the close of the millennium, when soul and body shall be cast into the lake of fire, not to be annihilated, but to be punished with everlasting separation from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power.

Further We believe that once a person has trusted Christ as Saviour they are eternally secure in their future destination which is Heaven. The very words of scripture give us this great comfort.

 (Matthew 19:16)  And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

John 3:15-16 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  (16)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(1 John 5:13)  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

John 6:39  And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

(Matthew 19:29)  And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

(John 3:36)  He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

(John 4:14)  But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

(John 5:24)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

(John 6:27)  Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

(John 6:40)  And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

(John 6:47)  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

(Romans 6:22)  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

The Doctrine of Creation

We believe in the Genesis account of creation, and that it is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically of figuratively; that man was created directly in God’s own image and after His own likeness; that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change of species, or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms, that all animal and vegetable life was made directly and God’s established law was that they should bring forth only “after their kind.”

The Doctrine of the Virgin Birth

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Ghost, in a miraculous man: born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man was ever born or can ever be born or woman, and that He is both the Son of God, and God, the Son.

The Doctrine of Missions

We believe that God has given the Church the Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that people from all ethnic groups and languages may have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ and be saved. As representatives of Christ we must use all available means to go foreign nations as well as the grounds throughout our own country to plant churches and spread the gospel.

The Doctrine of the Tithing

We believe scriptural giving is one of the fundamentals of faith. We are commanded to bring our gifts into the storehouse upon the first day of the week. We are commanded to bring the tithe into the common treasury of the church.
